Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program (YIEP) 2011

The Turkish Education Association (TED) and iEARN and the U.S Embassy organized a seminar for educators on Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program (YIEP) on January 7-8-9 2011 in Ankara. Our English teacher Elif Tosun, psychological counsellor Sanem Topuz and Computer & Instructional Technology Teacher Serkan Beceren attended this workshop and experienced  collaborative learning experiences with the educators from all around Turkey.
Students from 36 Anotolian High Schools from 12 districts will participate in the YIEP program in 2011. Over the course of the school year the students will form virtual companies, develop business plans and innovative products or services.
Three groups from the 9th and 10th grades will attend this program and the winning team will join 2011 Youth Innovation  and Entrepreneurship Product Fair at TED Ankara College.
